Offering more than double the capacity of standard REDVOLT batteries, RED DIGITAL CINEMA REDVOLT XL batteries can power DSMC cameras that have a compatible battery module. The boxy form-factor of the REDVOLT XL allows it to hold a significant amount of power without excessively impacting compact setups. If your camera has another source of power, for example, a secondary standard REDVOLT or a mains power connection, REDVOLT XL batteries can be hot-swapped with no power interruption.
